Born and raised in Istanbul, Berfin is a recent graduate of Emerson College with a BFA in Acting. Pluriculturalism and politics are driving points in her art and personal life. She’s the co-founder and an ensemble member of a devising company, The Empty Vessel Collective, in New York. Berfin started her journey at Yonder Window as the Education Intern for NYTSI 2021 and is now the Artistic Assistant and a proud Company Player. When she's not trying the save the world with theatre, she loves to be in the kitchen; brewing coffee or cooking up Turkish food for her loved ones.
